Brasserio Acceptable Use and User Content Policy

1. Scope
This Acceptable Use and User Content Policy applies to all use of Brasserio, including restaurant dashboards, mobile applications, embedded booking widgets, public restaurant pages, payment and cancellation flows, support channels, uploaded content, machine credentials, and any future API access.
This Policy is part of the Brasserio Terms of Service. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings given in the Terms.
2. General Standard
You may use Brasserio only for lawful restaurant operations, reservation management, waitlist management, guest communications, payments where enabled, and other approved purposes. You must not use Brasserio in a way that harms people, violates law, infringes rights, compromises security, disrupts service, misleads Guests, or damages Brasserio or third parties.
3. Prohibited Conduct
You must not, and must not allow others to:
- create fake reservations, fake waitlist entries, fraudulent accounts, bot bookings, or misleading restaurant information;
- resell, broker, transfer, auction, or otherwise exploit reservations or waitlist positions;
- scrape, crawl, harvest, extract, monitor, copy, or bulk download the Services, Content, or data without written permission;
- reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, modify, copy, or extract source code, non-public APIs, widget logic, loader code, mobile application code, or system architecture except where mandatory law permits it;
- copy, modify, proxy, tamper with, or frame the embedded widget or loader in an unauthorized or deceptive manner;
- use machine credentials, API keys, tokens, or widget credentials outside the approved restaurant context;
- share credentials, bypass access controls, exceed authorized roles, or fail to remove access for employees or contractors who no longer need it;
- conduct security testing, penetration testing, vulnerability scanning, load testing, benchmarking, or public performance testing without Brasserio’s prior written approval;
- upload malware, malicious scripts, spam, phishing content, credential harvesters, or harmful code;
- interfere with service availability, overload infrastructure, bypass rate limits, or abuse provider resources;
- circumvent payment, deposit, hold, refund, chargeback, subscription, or billing systems;
- spam Guests, send marketing without required consent, misuse phone numbers or emails, or violate communications laws;
- use Brasserio for unlawful discrimination, harassment, abusive treatment, unsafe restaurant practices, or privacy-invasive conduct;
- misuse Guest Data, staff data, customer lists, imported contacts, payment data, or restaurant operational data;
- use Brasserio to violate intellectual property, privacy, publicity, consumer protection, accessibility, employment, food-service, or other legal rights;
- access or use Brasserio for competitive analysis, benchmarking, or product copying without written permission.
4. User Content Rules
Restaurant Customers are responsible for all Content submitted through their accounts, including restaurant images, logos, menus, descriptions, floor plans, table layouts, staff lists, customer lists, links, and public restaurant-page content.
Content must not:
- be illegal, fraudulent, misleading, false, deceptive, or harmful;
- infringe copyright, trademarks, trade secrets, privacy, publicity, image rights, or other third-party rights;
- contain defamatory, hateful, discriminatory, pornographic, violent, harassing, threatening, or abusive material;
- contain malware, malicious scripts, tracking code not approved by Brasserio, or security risks;
- include unauthorized personal data, sensitive data, children’s data, government IDs, or payment card details;
- misstate prices, menus, allergens, availability, location, opening hours, cancellation terms, deposits, holds, refunds, or service conditions;
- misrepresent affiliation with Brasserio, a restaurant, a partner, or any third party;
- interfere with accessibility or create barriers for users with disabilities.
5. Rights and Licenses
You retain ownership of your Content. You grant Brasserio the rights needed to operate the Services as described in the Terms, including the right to host, store, reproduce, display, transmit, resize, format, moderate, and distribute Content in dashboards, booking widgets, public restaurant pages, support tools, and approved marketing or case-study contexts.
Brasserio may request written permission before using a restaurant’s logo or name in public marketing customer lists or case studies. Content already made public by a Restaurant Customer may be displayed as needed to provide the Services.
6. Enforcement
Brasserio may investigate suspected violations and may remove Content, restrict features, revoke credentials, suspend accounts, terminate service, block access, preserve evidence, notify affected parties, cooperate with authorities, or take other action reasonably needed to protect Brasserio, users, Guests, Restaurant Customers, and third parties.
Brasserio has no obligation to monitor all Content or activity, but may do so where appropriate for safety, security, legal compliance, support, or product integrity.
7. Reporting Abuse, Copyright, or Security Issues
Report illegal content, copyright concerns, misuse, abuse, privacy concerns, security issues, accessibility issues, or other policy violations to support@brasserio.com. Include the relevant URL, restaurant name, account, screenshot, description, and contact information where available.
8. Indemnity
Restaurant Customers and business users are responsible for claims arising from their Content, website, restaurant operations, policies, data, users, and misuse of the Services, as described in the Terms.
